Transferring domains to Best Web host is simple. Follow these directions or watch our step-by-step video guide.
- Unlock the domain you want to transfer with your current registrar.
- Obtain an authorization code (EPP code) from your current registrar. This is not always required, for instance, with ccTLD domains. If the code is not visible in your account manager, request it by email.
- Confirm contact information on your domain. Your current registrar may use these details during the transfer process.
When you transfer a domain, only the domain itself moves to Best Web host. Other services associated with the domain, such as email or hosting, are not transferred unless you decide to move them.
Domains can usually be transferred at any time, but ICANN prohibits transfers within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer (except .au).
Domain transfers typically take 5 to 7 days to complete. Follow these steps to track your transfer progress:
- Log in to your Best Web host Transfer Page.
- Select "Transfers In" if the domain is coming into your account, or "Transfers Out" if it’s leaving.
- Review domain statuses or search for your domain in the search bar.

Transferring a domain to Best Web host costs a flat fee of ₹ 499.00*, which includes a free year of registration. After the domain expires, an annual fee applies at the then-current rate.
